Paris: Day 1, Monday.

I am back from Paris and have lots to show you all! I am going to blog about it in days otherwise the blog post would be super long as we fitted A LOT in.

Day 1
Monday

Not much is open in terms of shops, cafes and restaurants on Mondays in France as it is like their Sundays so we decided to go sight seeing and be proper tourists!

Starting with...

Sacré-Cœur (roman catholic church)it was AMAZING, the steep stairs leading up to it seem impossible but it is well worth the exercise once you see how beautiful this building is and the view from the top! Super lovely.
The beautiful Sacré-Cœur

Place Du Tertre (a cafe-lined square with artists) great for cafes and caricature portraits. Beautiful French architecture with quirky cobbled streets.
Vintage Flea Market at Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen. Where we met so many doggies, my favourite one wouldn't stop following me around with his toy and sitting on my feet, so cute! It was great for mid century style furniture and quirky wall art.

Eiffel Tower It was my first time visiting it and it was super lovely even if we was all freezing. We ate nutella crepes and sat and enjoyed the views. Even though I walked in a really deep puddle and had cold feet all afternoon, it was great.

Centre Pompidou We visited in the day to see the beautiful architecture of this building, and it wasn't disappointing, it is also good around here for cafes and restaurants! We went back later on in the week to go inside.
