A few personal highlights of Amsterdam

Hello! With SOOOO many photos of Amsterdam I didn't know where to start or how to write about them. So I have decided to round them up (kind of, there is still lots of pictures) to just a few highlights as otherwise I would be blogging for months!

Ferens Art Gallery reopening and Hull 2017

On Saturday me and Rob took a visit into Hull for the first time in a while. We have been avoiding the centre due to all of the building and road works being done for Hull City of Culture 2017, so we would just do all of our shopping etc in Leeds. But seen as it is all nearly finished and I am home for a few days, we thought it would be nice to visit Ferens Art Gallery as it reopened on Friday.

Goodbye Dissertation, Hello Amsterdam!

YAAAAAAAYYYYYYY! I survived the big green monster (dissertation). I feel so proud of myself as it was HARD. I am not the biggest fan of academic writing, but I tried my best and it is definitely the best thing i've ever written. After three months of tears and hard work, it feels really strange to see it all bound and finished.

 I know I'm not the only one glad to see the back of 2016 as it has been a pretty crappy year for MANY reasons. But I am trying to look on the bright side to keep myself sane so I have made a list of 12 personal 2016 highlights that I can use to reflect on, this time next year.
