Finsbury Park and Cottingham Day

Hello Blog! It's been a while, 6 months! A lot has happened in that time. I have missed blogging as I use it as a bit of an online diary, I like to look back on what I have been up to. I find it more personal that a quick picture on Instagram or Facebook.

Finsbury Park for Liam Gallagher

Last weekend I travelled to London to see Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park with Rob and our friends. It was my first ever festival, and was boiling - 30 degrees!

I loved our little air bnb and the prints on the walls. The link to it is: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/17485011
Also if you haven't used Airbnb yet use this code: www.airbnb.co.uk/c/jodies950 and you'll get £25 off your first trip!
We had a great view of Emirates Stadium, and surrounded by nice cafes.

Cute prints on the wall

Cottingham Day

Last Sunday I went to Cottingham Day with Rob and his family, we got to ride in a vintage bus, I loved the pattern on the fabrics. I would love guests to travel in something like this for my wedding.
We have been house hunting in Cottingham so was lovely to see all of the shops and local stall holders and live music.

Ceramic hearts in the making

I also joined in with a ceramic heart workshop. It has inspired me to create more using 3D. I would love to make some teacups and plates, there is an Adult Ceramics part time course starting in September and I am tempted to join in! I want to experiment with wire also and make some floral sculptures.

I also want to learn how to make dresses and silver jewellery. Hull is really good for workshops at the minute, theres a lovely jewellery making workshop on the Marina too at Oresome.
