One year of 'A Textile Perspective'...

Around this time last year I decided to start 'A Textile Perspective', as it was the beginning of summer and I wanted a space where I could talk about all sorts from my work, to days out and exhibitions! I love being able to have my own space of the *internet world* to talk about anything, even if no one is reading.

LCA Foundation Show 'Made Here'

On Friday I visited the LCA Foundation show at Vernon Street. It was so nice to see what fellow creatives have been getting up to for the past year. I especially enjoyed the Illustration and Textiles rooms (what a surprise!). I would really recommend a visit, and it is only on until the 28th so go ASAP. Also the BA Hons Degree show starts on the 11th June and I am super excited to see this as it will be me this time next year EEK!

i-Dott + other exciting things

This is a snippet of my entry for I-Dott this year. I created a Lino block and then adapted the colours on Photoshop to create a repeat pattern. I think it works quite nicely on a nursery or even children's bedroom!

Day Trip to Knaresborough

We have been meaning to visit Knaresborough (a little village near Harrogate, Yorkshire) for a while now after hearing about the lovely cafes, riverside view from the castle and even just walks around the village. We were waiting for the right day to go, and today being the hottest day of the year so far we thought why not!
